May To-Do List

Posted in: General Chatter

My one year anniversary of learning to knit is coming up on June 1.  Ok, so I’m not sure that it was exactly on June 1 that I learned to knit.  But it was right around then so I’m going to go with it since it’s easy to remember.

The month of May always seems to be one of my most productive months of the year.  I don’t know what it is.  Maybe it’s because the days are longer and the weather is warm but not hot. Whatever the reason, I’d like to take advantage of this little spurt of productivity.  I ordered an enormous amout of yarn from [Webs] last week and I have projects planned for most of what I ordered.

Here is a quick rundown of what I hope to have started before the end of the month.  It would be insanity to think I could have it all finished, though.

  1. Booga Bag - In Progress
  2. Regia Garter Rib Socks - In Progress
  3. Radiance Lace Headband - In Progress
  4. Elizabeth I Scarf from Knit Picks using Alpaca Cloud
  5. Clementine Shawlette from Interweave Knits Spring 2007 using Louisa Harding Grace-Silk & Wool
  6. Icarus Shawl from Interweave Knits Summer 2006
  7. After Dark Nightie from Mason Dixon Knitting using Berger du Nord Belle
  8. Blue Suede Bikini from Sexy Little Knits using Berocco Suede

We will have to wait and see how I do as the month progresses.
