I’m Back!
Well, I took a hiatus from posting but I have stayed busy with knitting!
Here is a sample of what I have been up to:
First, I finished my first pair of socks. My son was very happy!

I finished the back part of my Pinup Queen sweater but I havn’t done any more with it yet.

I am almost done with a tote bag using a pattern from Interweave Knits Summer 2006. It’s blocked at the moment and I will try to finish the knitting tomorrow. I need to do the bottom and join the handle at the top. Then make a liner for it. I may give this as a gift to someone.

I had started on a striped garter stitch scarf using Lion Brand Kool Wool but I think I’m going to scrap it. I started another scarf with the same yarn using Mistake Rib. I like it much better.

And finally, I started a pair of socks for myself. Using Knit Picks Simple Stripes and a Fan & Feather pattern.

I have several other projects waiting in the wings. Can’t wait to have more to post!

Have you done anymore with the pinup queen sweater? I got the back done and am up to the short row shaping, but the book does not explain how to wrap and turn the 3 remaining stitches at the end of the row where short row shaping begins. I am on the quest for answers. The instruction appears to be simple enough for wrap and turn of one stitch, but not all three. Are they all done at once? Do you know anyone who might know?
